  • Expanding event leadership

  • Suggestions to improve our events

  • Updating leadership and membership of our 12 teams

Whitewater Paddle 17 Aug 2022

We will be having our next whitewater paddling event on Wednesday, August 17th. We will be meeting at Beacon Light Chevron at 2:30pm. We will then set our carpools and then drive up to Cascade Raft and Kayak, arriving there by 3:15pm.

This is a special event. Bruce Cooper has arranged for us to join a Wounded Warrior Project Event. Cascade Raft will be providing rafts and guides for the Wounded Warrior Project attendees including spouses/partners.  We will join them for a Main Payette Run from Banks to Cascade Raft and Kayak (about half a mile downstream from Beehive Bend). After paddling, we are invited to join the Wounded Warrior Project participants for dinner.

We will have boats and other gear that you will need. There will be a changing facility available at Cascade Raft. You should bring what you will wear in your boat, a dry change for when you are done, snacks, water, and sunscreen.

If there is enough interest we will include a paddle raft option. If you are interested in that you can select it on the registration form.

If you have not yet filled out the annual waiver forms, we will be sending the link for you to complete them before the event.

If you plan on attending you must register by completing the google form below.
