Rescue Course Arrival Instructions and updated information.

Greetings again to our SWR rescue training crew.

Heres some additional information.  

1) Below is information about the house, including address and directions. For those driving you can meet us at the house.  I’d appreciate and ETA on Thursday.  Check in is 4pm (or later).

2) If you are arriving in the evening please get your own dinner on the way. If you arrive by 630 or so we will have some pizza for folks to have at the house (this should accommodate Carlisle/Doug w 505 flights)

3) Bring your own drinks, and a water bottle. 2 drink max on alcohol.  Those flying can have their driver stop along the way.

4) They have towels but consider bringing your own for the river.

5) For those flying, Tim Reusser will be picking up Lorraine and Rick around 2, Jim Neal will be picking up Carlisle and Doug around 5.  (I will get the flying group and drivers connected.)

Check-in time is 4pm and Check-out time is 10am.

Check-In Instructions
You will go directly to your cabin to check-in.  There is a lock box on the porch on the post closest to the front door.   The code is DP20.  When you enter the code press the top button down and it will open the box up.  To close the box back up, press the bottom "c" button to clear, then enter the code again and hold the top button down and place back.   When you check-out of the cabin please return the key to the lock box.  

Cabin includes:
Bedding, bath towel (1 per person)
Variety of pots, pans, cooking utensils, plates, cups, coffee mugs and silverware (if you need a specific size pan, dish to cook that special something I would bring it with you)
Initial supply of the following:
Travel size shampoo
Conditioner
Lotion
toilet paper 
Bath/hand soap
Napkins/paper towels 
Dish soap for washing dishes or dishwasher if cabin is equipped with one

Kitchen towels, dish clothes

Regular coffee maker

Bring your own:
Coffee, oils, spices, salt, pepper or any other food items
Extra towels for lake, river
Laundry soap for washer/dryer 
Wood if your cabin is equipped with wood burning fireplace/stove or outdoor fire pit unless description states that wood is supplied

From the South take Hwy 55 North to mile marker 103. Turn left onto Garrett Lane and the cabin will be the 3rd drveway on the right, #20.  

From the North take Hwy 55 South to mile marker 103. Turn right onto Garrett Lane and the cabin will be the 3rd driveway on the right, #20.

Terms and Conditions
VACATION RENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Responsible Party

By accepting these terms and conditions, you acknowledge that you are the responsible party for the vacation rental and that you are 21 years of age or older. As the responsible party, you are solely responsible for the actions, behaviors, safety, and well-being of all occupants, guests, and visitors at the property you are renting.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

You may cancel the reservation at any time. Cancellations are subject to a cancellation fee of 10% of the rent total. The balance will be issued to you upon the successful re-booking of the property for the dates of your cancelled reservation. If only a portion of the dates are re-booked, you will receive a prorated refund. If we are unable to re-book the dates, no refund will be issued. You are responsible for making sure we have received your request to cancel. Online booking site fees and any other extra products you have purchased are not refundable. In the unlikely event the property you have rented becomes unavailable prior to your check-in date, we will offer you alternative accommodations. If no other property is available or acceptable to you, you will receive a full refund. If during your occupancy, we determine the property is unsafe and uninhabitable, we will offer you alternative accommodations. If no other properties are available or acceptable to you, you will receive a prorated refund for the remaining nights of your reservation.

Travel Protection

Vacation Rental Insurance has been made available with your reservation. Vacation Rental Insurance provides coverage for the loss of prepaid, non-refundable expenses due to certain unforeseeable circumstances that may jeopardize your vacation investment and force you to incur unplanned expenses. Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption coverage is available for events such as a sickness or injury of yourself, family member or traveling companion; flight delays due to adverse weather; interruptions of road service; terrorist acts; and mandatory evacuations. The plan also includes other valuable coverages such as Medical and Dental, Baggage, and Emergency Assistance and Transportation in addition to useful services such as identity theft, concierge and 24/7/365 emergency assistance. We strongly recommend you purchase this valuable protection. Additional terms and conditions apply; please read your Description of Coverage/Policy carefully and contact CSA Travel Protection – Generali Global Assistance at (866) 999-4018 with coverage questions.

Vacation Rental Damage Protection

As a part of your stay, you may purchase a Vacation Rental Damage Protection plan designed to cover unintentional damages to the rental unit interior that occur during your stay provided they are disclosed to management prior to check-out. If purchased, the policy will pay a maximum benefit of $3,000 Any damages that exceed $3,000 or are not covered under the plan will be charged to the credit card on file. If, during your stay at one of our rental properties, an insured person causes any damage to real or personal property of the unit as a result of inadvertent acts or omissions, the Insurer will reimburse the Insured for the cost of repair or replacement of such property up to a maximum benefit of $3,000 Certain terms and conditions apply. Full details of the Vacation Rental Damage coverage are contained in the Description of Coverage or Insurance Policy: www.vacationrentalinsurance.com/g20vrd. The Vacation Rental Damage Protection plan can be purchased up to, and including at, check-in. By submitting payment for this plan, you authorize and request Customized Services Administrators, Inc. to pay directly Cascade Property Management any amount payable under the terms and conditions of the Vacation Rental Damage plan. Please contact Cascade Property Management directly if you do not wish to participate in this assignment.

Damage

If you choose to not purchase the $55 Vacation Rental Damage Protection which covers unintentional damage only, we will charge your credit card a security deposit and you will also be responsible for damage expenses exceeding the deposit. In all cases, you are responsible for any damage to the property due to neglect, carelessness or intentional acts by you or other occupants, guests, and visitors.

Check-In and Check-Out

Every effort is made to ensure your rental is ready for check-in at 4:00 PM. Adverse weather, bad road conditions, repairs, or other unforeseen circumstances may delay the check-in time. Check-out time is 10:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out is allowed if available and approved by us.

Guest Rights and Obligations

You have exclusive right, use, and enjoyment of the property during the term of your rental. You are a guest of the home owner and Cascade Property Management. As a guest, you agree to treat the property and neighbors respectfully. You agree to not make excessive noise or use the property in a way that interferes with others in the area. Quiet time is from 9:00 PM to 9:00 AM. You agree to not trespass on any other property, private path, trail, or road unless permission has been given.

Property Directions and Access

Directions to the your vacation rental are provided with your confirmation, along with instructions for access into the property.

Maximum Occupancy

You agree to not exceed the number of occupants you have listed on your reservation. Misrepresenting the number of occupants in a vacation rental is against the law and will result in additional charges of $100 per day per occupant. Under no circumstances can occupancy exceed the maximum number allowed for the property. Any increase in occupancy must be approved in advance by us and is subject to the standard rate adjustment.

Extended Stay

You may request an extended stay. If the property is unavailable for extension, we may offer alternative accommodations.

Furnishings

Furnishings and amenities are complimentary. You agree to not re-arrange or remove any furniture in or from the property and to use furniture only in the manner it was designed to be used. You are responsible for any property items missing or broken during your stay.

Items Provided

The property will be stocked with an anticipated amount of supplies including cleaning products, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, coffee filters, hand soap, dish soap, and laundry soap (If the property is equipped with washer and dryer). The property will have basic kitchen utensils, broom, mop, vacuum cleaner, snow shovel, linens, bath towels, dish towels, and dish cloths. You are encouraged to bring extra supplies and any special cooking or baking needs you might have.

Cleaning

The property will be professionally cleaned and ready for you to enjoy. Upon vacating, you agree to leave the property in the same condition as you found it. Additional cleaning fees will be charged for cleaning needs out of the ordinary. This includes but is not limited to flooring, linen, or bedding stains, excessive trash, and any other excessively dirty or unsanitary conditions left on or in the property.

Trash Collection

Trash collection service is complimentary and trash is picked up once per week. You agree to keep the outside trash container lid closed at all times. Upon vacating, you agree to bag and empty all trash into to container. You agree to haul away any trash that exceeds the capacity of the container (lid must securely close). At no time shall bags of trash be left outside unless they are placed in the outside container with the lid securely closed.

Mechanical Malfunctions and Property Hazards

You agree to notify us promptly regarding any appliance malfunction, structural damage, or other property hazard. We will attempt to correct the problem as quickly as possible. We may offer alternative accommodations in circumstances where we determine the property is unsafe or uninhabitable. If no alternative accommodations are available, a prorated refund will be given to you.

Hot Tub/Spa/Pool

There are potential health and safety risks associated with the use of hot tubs, spas and pools. You and all others in your party agree to use any hot tub, spa or pool at their own risk. You are solely responsible for injury, illness or death to any occupant, guest, or visitor resulting from their use of any property hot tub, spa or pool.

Fireplaces, Woodstoves and Fire Pits

Fireplaces, woodstoves and fire pits may not be used during fire restriction periods. You are responsible for the safety of others around fireplace, woodstove or fire pit. At no time shall you leave any fire unattended. You must ensure that all fires are completely extinguished.

Trailers, Tents, and RV’s

Trailers, Tents, and RV’s may only be used at the property with prior written approval from us.

Smoking

Smoking and vaping are never allowed inside any house, cabin, shed or other structure located on the property. If any form of smoking is allowed outside, guidelines for such activity will be clearly defined in the reservation confirmation and in your specific property rules. You agree to follow strict rules regarding the proper disposal of ashes, butts, and other fire hazard devices. Upon our follow-up inspection, If smoking is detected to have occurred inside any structure on the property, you will be charged for the cost of complete restoration.

Fireworks 

Use of fireworks of any kind is prohibited at all of our properties.

Pets

If the property is pet friendly, you agree to follow all pet restrictions regarding number, type, weight, and breed specified in the rules of your rental property. At all times, pets must be under your complete control. You agree to not allow a pet(s) to bark excessively, bark at night, run loose, or infringe upon wildlife, cattle, other animals, or neighbors in the area. You agree to pick up and dispose of all dog waste left by your pets(s). If the property does not allow pets and you bring or allow a pet(s) to be brought to the property, there will be a $1,000 charge and you will need to promptly remove the pet(s) from the Property. If you refuse to remove the pet(s), you will be asked to vacate the property without refund. If the property does not allow pets, and during the course of our follow-up inspection it is discovered pets were in the property, there will be a $1,000 charge. You are solely responsible to keep pets out of your rental property if the property does not allow pets. 

Illegal Activity

You agree to not allow any illegal activity on the property. If it is determined any illegal activity is taking place, you will need to vacate the property without refund. In addition, law enforcement will be contacted to investigate.

Events

Your rented property may not be used for weddings, wedding parties, wedding receptions, commercial photography, or filming unless we have given written approval for such an event. All events which exceed your reservation occupancy must have our prior written approval.

Inspection

Cascade Property Management shall have the right to access the property for the purpose of inspecting, maintaining, or making repairs.

Theft

We are not responsible for theft of or damage to your personal possessions. It is recommended that you take whatever steps necessary to protect your possessions, including insurance and locking the property anytime you leave.

Indemnify and Hold Harmless

You agree to indemnify and hold Cascade Property Management and the property owner harmless for any loss, illness, emotional or mental stress, injury or death to you, occupants, guests, or visitors. You assume sole responsibility for the safety and well-being of all others at the property during your rental term.
