Courageous Survival Resource Partners

COURAGEOUS SURIVAL

Hello, I hope you are all staying healthy and well!

I am excited to update you on a few things:

 1. First Quarter 2021 - Resource Guides: First, THANK YOU to everyone for the collaboration in supporting Idaho’s first responders, veterans and their families and our efforts to serve them by purchasing ads to promote your resource/organization in the “Idaho’s Everyday Heroes Guide to Mental Health & Wellness.” Attached is the PDF version as well as the link for the online & downloadable version, just scroll down to the bottom of the page to access it. https://courageoussurvival.com/resource-guide

 2. Payments, Donations & Ways to Get Involved: Great news! We have added a new page “Get Involved” to the Courageous Survival website. You now have several options for signing up to continue as a Resource Partner, donate, choose to sponsor, etc.  and can do it all online. You can choose your option, then pay online or download the Partner form & mail it in by the deadlines. If you pay online, you will also automatically receive a receipt or one can be mailed to you upon request. Don’t forget to renew your commitment in the next month and a half for the second quarter to be included in the Guide. Deadline for submission and payment is May 8, 2021  https://courageoussurvival.com/get-involved

 3. Donations/Sponsors: THANK YOU to all those who have donated specifically so we can continue to offer these Guides at no cost to our Everyday Heroes & their families. I can’t tell you how much you are appreciated! *We are getting our ducks in a row, but are excited to announce we will be filing as a 501c3 Non-profit in the next couple of months or sooner.

 4. New Enhanced Peer Support Teams: Courageous Survival LLC has established Enhanced Peer Support Teams to further our mission of connecting Everyday Heroes and their families with resources for mental health and wellness as well as offer more in depth support. We ronare finalizing the SOP Manual and planning an official launch of these groups in the next month. Although they are available currently as needed. Stay tuned for more to come… https://courageoussurvival.com/peer-support

 We have teams for:

  • Active duty First Responders

  • Retired First Responders

  • Active Military and Veterans

  • Spouses or Significant others

Many agencies have their own peer support and employee assistance programs. Courageous Survival is committed to filling in the gap for agencies that do not have this resource, individuals who are no longer connected to an agency, or individuals who simply want a more discrete and anonymous place to connect. These peer support teams are made possible with the generous help from Code 3 to 1 - a group of retired first responders with a heart to continue serving.

5. Training & Tools: We are partnering with Code 3 to 1, the American Legion-Idaho, National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), and the Idaho Suicide Prevention Hotline to facilitate Livingworks ASIST- Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training on a quarterly basis for our Peer Support teams, First Responders, Veteran Service Leaders, Religious Leaders, and other partners. Our first training is scheduled for April 8-9, 2021 at the Meridian Public Safety Training Center. Please contact me directly for more details or watch for more info to come. Space is limited at these trainings.

Have a wonderful week and all our best to you and yours!
