We’re having our first whitewater kayaking event this Saturday on Indian Creek in Kuna.  Meet time is 10:00am at the commuter parking lot on Overland and Ten Mile just south of 1-84 off the Ten Mile Rd exit. We’ll then consolidate vehicles &  drive to the takeout, where you can leave your dry clothes at a changing room.  We’ll be paddling a scenic 3-4 mile stretch of Indian creek with several class two rapids, some 100 yards long.  Due to the size of the creek, we won’t have a raft option at this event, hardshell & IK’s only. And, we can only allow those who have paddled a prior whitewater run with us or have proven whitewater skills.

Air temps are very warm, but the water is cold, so we recommend a dry or wet suit, which we can provide.  Our time on the water should be less than 90 minutes, finishing by 2 or 3pm at the latest. We plan to eat an early dinner @ Enrique’s (in Kuna) for those who would like to join (at their own expense. )
